This Friday, October 26th, girls get to be girls by having fun experiencing a new culture while experiencing something very different from the normal Rolla entertainment! The event is for girls only; sorry boys, you’ll have to plan a guys’ night or something! Once you step foot into the aerobics room at the Bullman Multi-Purpose building, you can feel like you stepped foot outside of Rolla and into the Arabian peninsula. Music, decorations, and costumes provided for those who want to wear them will set the mood. This should be very stress-relieving and should be a great time for girls to get together and be boy-free for an evening

The belly dancing will be accompanied by cultural background information and demonstrations by an instructor from Rolla’s

Downtown Dance Center. The activity is designed for beginners, so if you’ve never belly danced before, you won’t feel left out at all. It’ll also be a great way to get a little exercise while learning about a new culture and doing something new and different! This will be a great way to wrap up your week, be ready for the weekend, and have some good quality girl time.

To recap, this event is this Friday from 6pm to 8pm in the aerobics room at the Bullman Multi-Purpose building. Any and all girls, including staff and faculty, are welcome to attend. Hope to see you there!
