I am going to mention a disclaimer: all of the movies I review I also enjoy. Therefore I am not going to rate them on a number or star scale because they would all be 8’s, 9’s, or 10’s. Bottle Rocket, a Wes Anderson film, is amazing. I would leave it at this, but I don’t think that review would persuade people to watch it. Written by Wes Anderson and Owen Wilson, this tells the story of a criminal trio that’s just getting started. The film starts as Anthony Adams (Luke Wilson) is breaking out of rehab. His friend Dignan (Owen Wilson) convinces Anthony to start a life of crime with a very rigorous ten year plan. From that point the duo becomes a trio, as another friend is hired as a getaway driver. They start committing crimes, going into hiding, falling in love, and planning the big heist of a meat processing facility. |
