So if you and a lady friend want to watch a post Valentine’s Day movie (and she wants to see a sappy love story while you want to see a movie filled with speed and splendor) Grand Prix is the movie for you. This film is one of the best movies of all time, in my opinion.

This film is based on the glamorous 1960’s F1 circuit. Along with the racing, the love story in this film is complex and shows how different people cope with love with different ways. Although this movie is about four hours long, you have to watch it. And if you think that it’s a waste of time, I’m sure that Will Ferrell could change your mind; The Legend of Ricky Bobby is based on this movie. With a French hot shot, the American driver with two first names, and a dramatic crash, I think that this movie is defiled by Will Ferrell’s. So if you have some time to kill and like older movies, this is the movie for you.
