D. Brooke’s PDF Print E-mail

Living in Rolla, you learn where to eat: Wasabi, Lucky House, maybe Applebee’s. But just recently we’ve attained a new eatery: D. Brooke’s. Located on 6th Street where L.L. Dogs used to be, this cute little café is a nice change from the usual Chartwells fare. They offer delicious sandwiches, yummy soups, and Cheesecake Factory cheesecakes. Chocolate popcorn, along with other chocolate delights, is sold there as well – don’t want to miss those. The tiny restaurant can only hold about 30 people at the most, which makes for a good place to take a date for dinner before taking in a movie at one of the Forum’s 4 theaters.
Anyway, it’s a small addition, but to a small town like Rolla small additions can make a huge difference. So the next time you look at your girlfriend on a Friday night and wonder what you’ll do before the drinking starts, remind yourself that you’ve got a new idea (and you can tell her that you thought of it yourself).
